Don’t forget, in addition to the festival on the last weekend in June, there is also the opportunity to hear jazz at Hanley Castle High School in June and July.
On Friday 15th June, 8pm – 10.30pm, Rossano Sportiello (Italy), the renowned Italian pianist returns to HCHS for a solo concert. Doors open at 7pm. Tickets £12 in advance or on the door.
Saturday 21st July, 8pm – 10.30pm (NB change of date from 19th July), Stephanie Trick (USA) and Paolo Alderighi (Italy). The popular pianists return to HCHS for ‘Four Hands on one Piano’, including Debbie Arthurs (percussion) and Malcolm Sked (bass). Doors open at 7pm. Tickets £15 in advance or on the door.
There is a licensed bar provided by the Three King’s Inn in June and July and tea and coffee included any time at all concerts. Club style and tiered seating.
