GM’s next improvisation workshop is fast approaching! You will work alongside our professional tutors Peter Martin and Tessa Frye. It’s for any beginners who can read notated music (c. grade 3), can play major scales (simple key signatures) and understand the difference between major and minor chord symbols, up to musicians of an intermediate and advanced level. Youth and adult musicians are welcome with a limit for rhythm section spaces. You will learn improvising skills including work on your style, feel, interpretation and interaction skills.The day will conclude with an informal performance, which family and friends can attend. £30 per musician per day (£15 bursaries available) [email protected]
